43% of Russians who participated in the SuperJob survey admitted to being addicted to the Internet and modern gadgets, and 12% of them are absolutely sure of such an addiction, and 31% are rather sure.

According to RBC, 53% of respondents believe that they are independent of the Internet, smartphones, etc. 19% have no doubts about it, 38% rather do not depend on it. Of the respondents under the age of 24, 54% admitted addiction, and among citizens over 45 - 35%.

56% of study participants never consciously stop using the Internet. 44% periodically arrange a “digital detox” for themselves. 18% - every year, 10% - several times a week, 9% - several times a month. Moreover, Russians aged 35-44 refuse the Web less often than others, because "parents must be constantly in touch", or because their work is based on the use of the Internet.

Last summer, the figures were almost the same: 42% of Russians admitted to Internet addiction. 58% of the dependence denied. Moreover, even about ten years ago, VTsIOM stated that half of the citizens were dependent on the Internet. Then also every fifth respondent said that he suffers from Internet addiction and spends too much time on the Web.
