In the middle of last month, it became known that Poland would not allow the Russian delegation to attend the December meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization for Security Cooperation. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the staff of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine concealed war crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and cooperated with foreign intelligence services. In April, the head of the OSCE, Zbigniew Rau, and the organization's secretary general, Helga Schmid, announced the closure of the Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine.

The annual meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council is held to assess the overall security situation in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian space.
