Advisor to the head of the office of the Ukrainian President Mikhail Podolyak (pictured) said that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since February allegedly amount to 10-13 thousand people.

The assessment of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who announced a hundred thousand dead Ukrainian soldiers, Podolyak called erroneous.

"Of course, Mrs. Ursula made a mistake, it's obvious. So they removed that video, removed those numbers. Because we have the official assessments of the General Staff, which the Supreme Commander-in-Chief says. They range from 10 to 12.5-13 thousand dead", - RIA Novosti quotes the words of Podolyak.

On November 30, von der Leyen stated that after the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, the losses of the Ukrainian side amounted to "more than 100,000 Ukrainian military and more than 20,000 civilians". The message was published on Twitter (banned in Russia) and on the website of the European Commission. However, on the same day, the mention of the losses of Kiev was removed from the speech of the head of the EC. Moreover, since the social network does not provide for editing messages, the rewritten version of the video was re-published.

At the same time, the head of the public relations department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Bohdan Senik, commenting on the words of the head of the EC about the losses of the Ukrainian military, stressed that this information is official information and cannot be made public. After Podolyak's statement, Senik did not give a similar comment.
