On December 2, Russian musician Grigory Leps, during a performance on the occasion of his 60th birthday on the stage of the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, threw the microphone before singing the song “The Best Day” and left, throwing his glasses along the way.

After that, he, along with his guards, got into a fight with a visitor to a local bar.

Having entered an institution on Moskovsky Prospekt, Leps began to argue with one of the visitors - according to the TG-channel Baza, it turned out to be 39-year-old Dmitry Gorbachev. They decided to continue the showdown on the street, where a fight broke out, in which his guards came to the aid of Leps.

Dmitry Gorbachev went to a medical facility, doctors diagnosed him with a broken nose. The victim wrote a statement to the police.

According to the media, Leps tried to apologize to the audience for the unfinished song later, saying that he "got a little sick, wheezed." No apologies to Dmitry Gorbachev have been reported.

It should be noted that Grigory Leps was included by the presidential administration in the list of "patriotically directed" artists, whom the regions are recommended to support during New Year's events. The document sent to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation states that these are artists who publicly supported the special operation or participated in events organized by the authorities under the slogan of approving the SVO. In addition to Leps, the list included City 312, Polina Gagarina, Oleg and Rodion Gazmanov, singer Shaman, Denis Maidanov, Alexander Marshal and Yulia Chicherina.
