Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called for a review of sanctions against Russia

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban agreed with French leader Emmanuel Macron that the cost of the Ukrainian conflict "is not the same on both sides of the Atlantic." Orban considers it expedient to review anti-Russian restrictive measures.

"President Macron is right: the cost of a war between Russia and Ukraine is not the same on both sides of the Atlantic. If we want European industry to survive, we must quickly resolve the European energy crisis. It's time to reconsider the sanctions", - Orban wrote on his page on the social network.

Earlier, the French president said in an interview with CBS that he was seeing a "out of sync" in relations between the United States and Europe. The price of American gas for Europeans is higher than for the domestic market. Macron also criticized the law on reducing inflation, adopted by the White House.

We are talking about a law signed by President Joe Biden in August, which provides subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicles assembled in the United States or with American batteries. Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had previously disagreed over a common response to the document.
