Deserter Pavel Nikolin, who fired on law enforcement officers in Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov Region, on December 6, turned out to be a fighter of the Wagner PMC, writes the TG-channel Baza.
According to the channel, Nikolin served time for theft and robbery in the Ufa IK-4. From there, he was recruited into the PMC, and on November 24 he escaped.
On Tuesday, December 6, a deserter was seen near the Novoshakhtinsk plant. He had a weapon with him, the deserter opened fire on the police. The injured police officer was hospitalized.
The shooter was found only on December 7 on the territory of an abandoned pig farm. During the arrest, he tried to resist.
