According to Kuznetsov, more than 100 New Year's performances will take place in the state theaters of the Moscow region, and more than 300 performances will be shown in the municipal theaters of the region. More than 3,000 events are planned in the cultural centers near Moscow. First of all, they are focused on the children's audience and on parents with children.
This year, the festive program will focus not on mass festivities and entertainment shows, but on events for children and families, on traditions, Kuznetsov said.

Unusual projects for its visitors were prepared by the New Jerusalem Museum. As part of the Winter in the Moscow Region program, the museum will open the exhibition Under the Sign of Rubens on December 9th. According to the director of the museum, Anna Antipenko, the exhibition will feature 67 paintings by famous Flemish painters of the 17th century. The most important exhibit will be the work of Rubens, which has never been exhibited in our country.
The best Russian figure skaters will show 29 performances on ice in the parks of 25 city districts of the Moscow region. All of these events will be free. According to Ilya Averbukh, head of the Ice Age project, he is looking forward to meeting the audience. The first performance will take place in the Yolochki park in the Domodedovo city district on December 10th.
On December 24, the festival "Our Winter" will begin. It will be held on the Cathedral Square of the Main Temple of the Russian Armed Forces until February 26. A festive program and the largest skating rink in the region have been prepared for the guests. Ded Moroz Mail boxes are already accepting letters from little visitors, and on December 24, the opening of the Ded Moroz Residence will take place.
