The Kremlin is unaware of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's (pictured) proposal to host a "global peace summit." This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

“No, they haven’t heard anything, and we, in fact, don’t know anything about President Zelensky’s peacekeeping”, - commented Dmitry Peskov. His words are quoted by Interfax.

Zelensky proposed holding a peace summit during his telephone conversation with US leader Joe Biden.

During this conversation, the Ukrainian president also announced the damage to half of the country's energy infrastructure as a result of shelling and called on his Western partners to help with the formation of an effective country's air defense system.
