Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called the reports of telegram channels and the media about the resignation of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov (pictured), which supposedly should be announced soon, a "duck".
“We never comment on all these gossip and gossip about personnel appointments, because the vast majority of these gossips are nothing else”, - said the Kremlin spokesman, adding that “there is nowhere to put a full stop here, there are no decrees, so this is all absolutely “telegram hoax", and there is a huge number of it.
Last week, Peskov said that there was no talk of annexing new territories in the area of the special operation to Russia.
