The head of the Kursk region announced the mortar shelling of the border village of Yelizavetovka

The head of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, announced a mortar shelling of the village of Yelizavetovka in the Glushkovsky district. According to preliminary data, nine “arrivals” from Ukraine were recorded.

“Today, the village of Elizavetovka, Glushkovsky district, came under mortar shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We preliminarily counted 9 arrivals”, - Starovoit said on his Telegram channel.

There was no information about the victims, but a hit in a private household was recorded. The governor reported broken glass, damage to the gas pipe of the wall of a residential building. He also promised to provide the residents of Elizavetovka with all the necessary assistance to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.

The village of Elizavetovka is located 1.5 km from the border with Ukraine. The settlement has been shelled several times in recent months.
