The White House called the goals of Zelensky's visit to Washington

According to Reuters, referring to a representative of the US presidential administration, Zelensky will address the US Congress and hold a joint press conference with Joe Biden.

“Zelensky's visit highlights the strong commitment of the United States to support Ukraine throughout time, including through the provision of economic, humanitarian and military assistance,” said White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

She added that Zelensky's speech in Congress will demonstrate the "unity of Democrats and Republicans" in support of Kyiv.

Earlier, American media reported that on December 21, Zelensky would arrive in Washington, he would be received at the White House and the Capitol, he would meet with American leader Joe Biden.
