In the new territories of Russia people complained about the lack of teachers of the Russian language

The shortage of teachers of certain specialties in the new territories annexed to the Russian Federation was reported by Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.

“If we take the total number, then there is no shortage of teachers. But if you take it from the point of view of subjects, then yes, (this is) history, the Russian language”, - Interfax quotes the minister as saying.

To remedy the situation, officials have prepared a program for the development of teacher education. According to Kravtsov, it is planned to prepare a sufficient number of teachers in scarce specialties by September 1 with the participation of specialized universities.
