The head of the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir region on agrarian policy, nature management and ecology Pavel Antov (pictured) was found dead in a hotel in India. On December 22, the deputy's travel group companion was found dead in the same hotel.

The Russian Consulate General believes that there is nothing suspicious in the deaths of both Russians. According to the website of the legislative assembly, Antov turned 65 on December 22.

The causes of his death are not given. The deputy died under "tragic circumstances", Deputy chairman of the legislative Assembly Vyacheslav Kartukhin writes in his tg channel.

According to the Indian TV channel NDTV, the Russian died in a hotel in Rayagada district in the state of Odisha in the east of the republic. Indian journalists called the deceased "Pavel Anton" in their story. They also reported the death of "Vladimir Bidenov" - a member of the same tour group, which included the deputy. Zebra TV Channel (Vladimir) reports that we are talking about Vladimir Bydanov, a 61-year-old businessman from Yoshkar-Ola, a friend of Antov.

It should be noted that in 2019, Antov led the rating of the richest civil servants and deputies of Russia according to Forbes (9.97 billion rubles). He founded the meat company "Vladimir Standard".
