The court decision increased the fine to the co-owner of the shopping center "Winter Cherry" ("Zimnyaya vishnya") in Kemerovo, where 60 people died in a fire. The amount of the fine will amount 70 million rubles.

- The judicial Board determined: to assign Vishnevsky an additional punishment under Part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in the form of a fine in the amount of ten times the amount of a bribe ... that is, up to 70 million rubles, - announced in court.

In October, the court sentenced Vyacheslav Vishnevsky, the former co-owner and CEO of the Winter Cherry shopping center in Kemerovo, to eight years in a penal colony and a fine of 21 million rubles for bribing the head of the Kuzbass State Construction Supervision during the reconstruction of the facility. The prosecutor was not satisfied with the verdict, the state prosecution filed an appeal. The fire in the shopping center "Winter Cherry" occurred on March 25, 2018.

147 people were injured there, 60 more people were killed, more than half of them were children.
