FSB officers in Khabarovsk stopped the activities of accomplices of terrorists

As reported to Novye Izvestia in the regional department of the FSB, in May of this year, a native of one of the Central Asian republics, M.Sh.u. Yuldashev, who financed the organization, was detained. He himself joined the ranks of the MTO, performed intelligence functions and gave other members an account in the messenger for public calls for terrorist activities and justifications of terrorism.

Yuldashev was charged with a crime under the article on the promotion of terrorist activities, as well as under the article on participation in the activities of an organization that is recognized as terrorist in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

During the investigation, law enforcement officers found out that his compatriots P. Turgunpulatov, K.A.U. Abdurakhmonov and A. Olimov knew about Yuldashev's illegal activities. For ideological reasons, they did not report Yuldashev's illegal acts to the police. Criminal cases against these three were initiated under the article on failure to report to the authorities authorized to consider reports of a crime, about a person who, according to reliably known information, committed a crime under Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

In early December, by the verdict of the first Eastern District Military Court, Yuldashev was found guilty of committing incriminated crimes. He was sentenced to nine years in prison. He will spend two years in prison, the rest in a strict regime colony. Taking into account the repentance of Turgunpulatov, Abdurakhmonov and Olimov, the Central District Court found them guilty of committing a crime under Article 205.6 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and imposed penalties in the form of fines. The verdict has entered into force.
