Vyacheslav Volodin will visit Tehran

"There is a program for the upcoming visit of the speaker of the Russian parliament Vyacheslav Volodin to Iran in the near future, but the exact date has not yet been determined", - RIA Novosti quotes Sadekiyan. Earlier it was assumed that Volodin would visit Iran in January 2023, where he would hold a meeting with the President of the Republic Ibrahim Raisi.

In mid-December, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov signed a cooperation program until 2025 with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Jafar Montazeri. It was decided to create a working group on countering crimes. In early December, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali announced that the two countries intend to sign a long-term comprehensive cooperation agreement in the near future.
