Putin signed a decree on compensation for the death of civilian personnel in new regions

The document published on the official Internet portal of legal information states that if a citizen sent on a business trip to the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions dies, his family is entitled to a payment of 5 million rubles. The wife, parents and children of the deceased will be able to claim monetary compensation.

"If a business traveler is wounded in one of the four regions, he is entitled to a payment of 3 million rubles", - Kommersant notes.

Documents on the entry of four new regions into the Russian Federation were signed on September 30. Previously, referendums on joining the Russian Federation were held on the territories of these subjects.

Earlier it was reported that since March of this year, the families of the military who died during their Ukraine is entitled to payments in the amount of 5 million rubles, and in case of injury — 3 million rubles. In addition, in the event of the death of a fighter, his family is entitled to compensation in the amount of 7.4 million rubles, in case of injury — 2.968 million rubles.
