On the eve of the New Year, sociologists found out that every second resident of the country has no New Year's mood, and every tenth imitates joy so as not to upset relatives.

According to RBC, with reference to the survey of the recruiting service SuperJob, conducted among 1,600 adult Russians from all regions of the country, only 28% of Russians have a festive mood on the eve of the New Year.

"10% of respondents imitate joy in order not to upset loved ones", - the report says.

The publication notes that women are more often engaged in the simulation of high spirits in order not to upset their loved ones.

The most cheerful category of the country's population on the eve of the New Year holidays turned out to be young people under 24 (43%). Among people over 45 years of age, only 22% had such.

Among people who receive less than 30 thousand rubles a month, 44% do not have a New Year's mood, and Russians with incomes over 80 thousand per month turned out to have even more pessimists — 47%.

On the eve of the holiday, most Russians admitted that they are busy buying gifts and cleaning the apartment, some are working hard on the figure to meet the holiday more slender.
