Singing with a phonogram forbidden in Kyrgyzstan

The Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Altynbek Maksutov signed an order banning the use of phonograms during performances of artists. This was reported in the press service of the department.
"Since January 1, 2023, artists of Kyrgyzstan are prohibited from using a phonogram. The corresponding order <...> was signed by the Minister of Culture Altynbek Maksutov," the ministry's press service said (quoted by RIA Novosti).The representative of the press service clarified that live performance becomes a prerequisite for performances in the buildings of state institutions of education and culture, as well as in theaters, philharmonic halls, concert halls, clubs, museums, libraries, cinemas and sports institutions.
The ban on the use of phonograms also applies to cultural events.
