In the USA, a six-year-old boy shot a teacher in class

The incident happened at an elementary school in Newport News, Virginia. The police note that the shot was not accidental. Before that, the boy and the teacher had a conflict, after which the child took up arms and fired one shot.

Now the condition of the 30-year-old teacher has improved somewhat, but the injury she received is still life-threatening, CNN reports.

Newport News Public Schools Administrator George Parker called after the incident to restrict children's access to guns. "We have to keep guns out of the hands of our youth," he said.
