75.9% of foreign companies continue to work in Russia, and those who have left the Russian market are forced to suffer billions of dollars in losses, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said.

According to the speaker of the lower house, the decision to stay in Russia "speaks volumes": - They (foreign companies) believe in good prospects for the development of our country's economy, they are satisfied with the business climate.

Those who left suffer billions of dollars in costs," Volodin wrote on his tg channel. Russian enterprises occupy vacant niches and increase production volumes.

According to the speaker of the State Duma, the production of clothing increased by 42%, and the production of medicines - by 15%.

A study conducted by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry showed that more than 60% of domestic companies suffered losses from Western sanctions after the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine. Only a quarter of enterprises managed to find new partners after foreign firms left the Russian market.
