The minimum wage will be established in the new regions of the country

From January 1, the same minimum wage will be established in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as in other regions of Russia. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
The minimum wage is now 16,242 rubles.
Prior to that, the minimum wage was not set in the new regions of the country, the Deputy Prime Minister said. Its introduction will require a change in the approach to paying for the work of state employees. The wage fund will be increased by 20% in 2023.
The average subsistence minimum in the DPR and LPR is now 11.2 thousand rubles, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions — 11.6 thousand, Tatyana Golikova said on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel (VGTRK). The establishment of a subsistence minimum will allow determining the amount of support for families in these regions.
