Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar announced the "peace summit", which is scheduled to be held on February 24 at the UN headquarters in New York. He told the Turkish edition of Anadolu about this.

"We think that the peace summit will be held with a high probability on February 24 at the UN headquarters in New York", - the head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Turkey said, adding that Russia's participation in the event would be "unnatural" (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the preparation of a "formula for peace" to resolve the crisis, one of the ten points of which is the restoration of Kiev's control over the borders as of 1991.

The Wall Street Journal newspaper, citing sources in European and Ukrainian diplomatic circles, reported on the ongoing refinement of this plan. According to the publication, the Ukrainian side will provide a revised version approximately in February. The proposed plan has already been supported by Turkey. In Moscow, they recalled their demands, pointing out the new territorial realities. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the plan, which does not take into account today's realities with the territory of Russia and new regions, cannot be "peaceful".
