The performer in one of the interviews criticized the actions of the Russian military on Ukraine, and also reported on the provision of financial assistance to this country.
The deputy said that such statements of artists should not be ignored.
"I note that these are not some individual statements of plague actors. This is an ideological war aimed at forming defeatist public opinion", - the deputy said. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Recall that Boris Grebenshchikov moved from Russia to the UK after the start of the special operation. In May last year, he gave an interview to an Israeli TV channel, in which he stated that he had sent the proceeds of 12 million euros from a concert in Berlin with other performers to help Ukraine.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Ekaterina Stenyakina told the publication about the formation of a stop list in the country of artists who will be banned from participating in projects funded by the country's budget. Before that, the deputies opposed the artists condemning the special operation in Ukraine to perform in Russia. According to the head of the State Duma Committee on Culture Elena Yampolskaya, such artists should be cut off from any funding in the country, and not deprived of their titles and state awards, which in fact have no meaning for the artist.
Recall that earlier the Russian performer Valery Meladze was offered to deprive of all titles. Questions to the performer arose after his performance at a corporate party in Dubai. The artist from the stage responded to the phrase "Glory to Ukraine" said from the audience.
