"Military units and subdivisions of the Russian component of the regional grouping of troops (forces) located at the ranges of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus have been inspected", - the newspaper notes.
Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation assessed the quality of combat coordination classes, and also studied the degree of their readiness to perform combat tasks. As a priority area of work, the employees of the Russian group of troops are tasked with ensuring the military security of the Union State.
Earlier, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko described the republic's defense ties with Russia with the words "oh, how far they have come". According to him, Belarus was "pushed by life" to closer cooperation with Russia.
