According to telegram channels, About a hundred residents of the suburb of Makhachkala Karaman-2 blocked the federal highway due to problems with electricity supply.
A huge traffic jam has formed in the area of the village. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene. The police authorities promised the protesting residents that representatives of regional "Rossets" would come out to them soon.

The day before, about 80 thousand people in 40 settlements were left without electricity. Restoration work on the networks continues. Now it remains to return electricity to the homes of about 7000 residents of the region.

As reported by Interfax with reference to the data of PJSC Rosseti North Caucasus, as of 6:00 on January 13, the number of residents of the republic experiencing interruptions in electricity supply has been reduced to 6.9 thousand people.

Initially, 37 brigades of 144 power engineers participated in eliminating the consequences of the disaster in the republic, then Rosseti sent 14 more brigades to the problem areas.

On the eve it became known that at the height of the January frosts in Kostroma, dozens of apartment buildings were left without heating.

The authorities called the situation with the state of heating networks in the city critical: during the summer period, the concessionaire TGC-2 did not have time to complete the planned amount of work on the re-laying of rotten heating mains, accidents happen daily due to the dilapidation of pipes.
