Sappers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to study in Cambodia

According to Khmer Times, the training of Ukrainian soldiers is conducted by the Cambodian Mine Clearance Center. The training started today, January 16. Earlier, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen reported to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in December last year that the country intends to take Ukrainian sappers for training.

It is assumed that in April the second group of experts will travel from Cambodia to Poland to conduct a training course there. Tokyo also supported the initiative. A few days earlier it was reported that the Pentagon confirmed the training of the APU in the development of the Patriot air defense system at a base in Oklahoma, USA.

Washington announced that it would train up to a hundred Ukrainians at an accelerated pace in a few months. The first Patriot battery was included in the latest package of American aid to Kiev.
