A photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared on the page of the participants of the G20 summit, which is scheduled to be held on September 9 and 10, 2023 in New Delhi, India.

Putin did not go to the G20 2022 summit, which was held in Bali on November 15-16, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov participated in the event instead.

As Kommersant notes, along with Putin, photos and names of other potential participants of the event are posted on the summit page. Among them are European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, US President Joe Biden, Chinese President Xi Jinping, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Head of the European Council Charles Michel, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and others.

India is chairing the G20 summit this year. At the invitation of the authorities of this country, high-ranking representatives of Singapore, Spain, Oman, Egypt, Nigeria, the UAE, Bangladesh, Mauritius, the Netherlands will also take part in the meeting, designed to bring together ministers, heads of State and Government, representatives of civil society.

Earlier, a number of politicians proposed to exclude Russia from participating in prestigious international events after the start of a special military operation of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.
