In the Valuisk city district bordering Ukraine, a new shelling was recorded, as a result of which a resident of the village was injured.
This was announced by the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov. The injury of a local resident was considered not serious, now the victim is receiving the necessary assistance. Authorities continue to inspect the area for damage.
"Shell fragments knocked out windows in private households, one car was damaged", - Kommersant quotes Gladkov as saying.
As a result of the morning shelling of the border town of Shebekino, power lines were damaged on January 17. No casualties were identified among the people.
The shelling of the Belgorod region has been going on for several months. Several people have already become victims of shell hits, buildings have been damaged in many localities.
