Putin promised a deferring from the army for employees of defense enterprises

"Taking into account the fact that the defense industry is currently loaded, you work in three shifts, and the products of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex are in high demand, we are now exploring the possibility of granting a deferral to those who should be called up for military service", - Vladimir Putin said.He added that the issue on this issue will be resolved in the near future.

Currently, about 830 thousand Russians work at defense enterprises.

Previously, employees of these enterprises received a reprieve from partial mobilization. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense took the initiative to increase the number of the Russian army to 1.5 million people, including contract soldiers - up to almost 700 thousand.

In addition, it is proposed to raise the maximum age of conscription to 30 years. At the same time, they will take on military service not from the age of 18, but from the age of 21. The initiative of the Ministry of Defense to raise the draft age is connected with the fact that "yesterday's schoolchildren" do not go to the army if they do not go to university.
