15 soldiers were killed in a fire in a barracks in Armenia

A fire broke out in a military unit in the village of Azat in Geharkunik region of Armenia at 1:30 local time (00:30 Moscow time). According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, the barracks of an engineering company was on fire. According to preliminary data, 15 people became victims of the incident, three more are now in serious condition, they are hospitalized. The causes of the tragedy are not called. Work has been launched to eliminate the fire.

It should be noted that the village of Azat is located near the Azerbaijani border, in the east of Armenia. Earlier today it became known that the wooden church of St. John of Kronstadt caught fire in Moscow.

As a result of the incident, an employee of the temple was injured, he was hospitalized with burns to his hands. The reasons are being established.
