Serbia will send Ukraine equipment to restore the power system

The Serbian authorities announced plans to send equipment to Ukraine to maintain the country's energy system. This is stated in a message on the website of the government of the country.

The message does not specify what kind of equipment is in question, and in what quantity it will be delivered to Ukraine.

It's worth reminding that last summer Serbia provided Ukraine with financial assistance in the amount of three million euros. The funds were sent to help Ukrainian refugees. At the same time, the country has not joined Western sanctions against Russia and continues to maintain relations with this country.

The Russian military continues to strike at Ukraine's critical infrastructure in response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge. The Ukrainian authorities note that the situation with electricity supply in the country is critical. There is a shortage of electricity generation in the country due to the ongoing shelling and damage to a large number of power facilities. Earlier, the EU countries promised to transfer transformers and power generators to Ukraine.

Earlier, the Turkish company Karpowership announced its readiness to supply Odessa with floating power plants that will be able to generate up to 300 MW of energy.
