Sergey Mironov boasted of "a sledgehammer from Prigozhin"

Mironov expressed gratitude to Prigozhin for a unique gift with an inscription and said that the other day he had already "managed to use" this tool. Mironov posted a video where he picks up a sledgehammer on a construction site. However, unlike Prigozhin's present, there is no inscription on this sledgehammer.

Mironov said that now, with a sledgehammer, he will be able to punch a hole in the "Nazi ideology".

"Let all our enemies finally realize that they will not succeed. The future of Russia depends on our actions now. There should be Russia!", - the deputy said.

In the comments under the deputy's post, some users called the gift "ambiguous", and the advertising of such a gift was "stupid". They suggested the parliamentarian to think about whether the sledgehammer handed to him with the skulls engraved on it is a "black mark".

As MK notes, a few days earlier, Sergey Mironov proposed legalizing Prigozhin's private military company, calling it a "heroic military formation."

At the same time, at the end of last year, the investigative authorities began checking the video, which allegedly shows the execution of a former prisoner from the Wagner PMCs. Human rights activists from the HRC under the President of Russia sent an appeal about the murder of a fighter of the Wagner PMCs with a sledgehammer to the head of the TFR Alexander Bastrykin.

The recording was published on November 12 in the GREY ZONE telegram channel. He is associated with the Wagner PMCs. In the video, a certain person, who calls himself Yevgeny Nuzhin, says that he voluntarily switched to the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the end of the video, he is shown in a dark room, his head taped to bricks. Nuzhin says that in September he "carried out his plan" to switch sides.

"On November 11, 2022, I was on the street in Kiev, where I received a blow to the head, as a result of which I lost consciousness. I woke up in this basement, where I was informed that I would be tried," the man says on the recording. After that, an unknown person kills Nuzhin by hitting him on the head with a sledgehammer.

Prigozhin commented on this video with the words: "Dog — dog death."

However, after the adviser to the head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Mikhail Podolyak, said that Yevgeny Nuzhin himself agreed to return to During the exchange of prisoners, Prigozhin said that he sees in this video "the hand of the CIA." Prigozhin denied hints about the possible involvement of the Wagner PMCs in the extrajudicial execution of his former fighter.

"If there is no body, there is no case. Fellow Ukrainians, or rather, fellow Americans, hand over the body and we will figure out what happened," he added.

In a conversation with Kommersant, Eva Merkacheva, a member of the Human Rights Council under the President of Russia, suggested that the video of the execution with a sledgehammer could be staged for the image purposes of the PMCs.
