Singer David Crosby has passed away

The death of American singer and guitarist David Crosby was announced by his wife to Variety. Crosby was the founder of the popular rock band Byrds and Crosby in the 1960s, as well as the Stills & Nash collective.

The latter was renamed Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. The musician died at the age of 82 as a result of a long illness.

He died surrounded by his loved ones. - Although he is no longer with us, his humanity and kind soul will continue to guide and inspire us.

His legacy will live on thanks to his legendary music... We will miss him very much," said the musician's wife. Founded by Crosby, The Byrds in Los Angeles in 1964 lasted until the early 2000s.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young started performing in 1968. David Crosby has released five studio albums.

These are "If I Could Only Remember My Name" (1971), "Oh Yes I Can" (1989), "Thousand Roads" (1993), "Croz" (2014), "Lighthouse" (2016). In 1991, the singer was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

On January 12, British guitarist Jeff Beck, whom the Rolling Stones call "guitar god", died. He was 78 years old, shortly before his death, he contracted bacterial meningitis.
