This was stated by the first deputy head of the Ministry of Education Alexander Bugayev.

According to the official, this decision was made for security reasons.

"We are faced with the situation that within the framework of a special military operation, a number of subjects of the Russian Federation have been assigned special legal statuses.

I am talking here not only about our colleagues who work on the territory of the Donetsk, Lugansk People's Republics, in Zaporozhye and Kherson region, but also the adjacent regions", - Bugayev quotes TASS.

At the end of August last year, the head of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced that, for security reasons, 15 schools in the region would start the school year remotely.

Before that, the same decision was made in the Kursk region. 13 out of 86 schools of Belovsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts will switch to distance learning there.
