Used car imports through Vladivostok increased by 72%

The number of foreign cars imported into the country through Vladivostok customs has increased by 72%. We are talking about "running" cars. This was reported in the Far Eastern Customs Administration. The number of imported cars in June last year was 15 thousand, in November - 28 thousand.

In December last year, it decreased to 26 thousand, but in 2021 the figure was 11 thousand. Mainly Japanese Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Honda, Subaru and Suzuki were brought to Russia, a smaller number are cars from South Korea such as Hyundai and Kia.

The import of cars for personal use from China is sporadic.

At the same time, it is Chinese cars that are becoming more expensive than other cars in Russia. Last year, the most rapid price growth was shown by the brands Chery and Geely, and at the beginning of 2023 it became known that Haval (cars are manufactured at a Russian factory) began to raise prices.
