The State Duma proposed to reserve dates for crossing the border by car

The author of the initiative is the head of the Transport Committee Yevgeny Moskvichev. The document states the need to reserve the date of crossing the border for both Russians and foreigners. Changes in legislation when they are adopted will affect carriers and individuals. According to Moskvichev's idea, departure from Russia will be carried out on a reserved date and time, the procedure will be established by the Russian government.

If the initiative is approved, the cabs will approve a list of documents that are needed to book a date, as well as the definition of the category of cars that are allowed to cross the border out of turn. The parliamentarian proposes to introduce changes from March 1 of this year.

It's worth reminding that in the fall of 2022, during the period of partial mobilization in the country, the head of the State Council, Vladimir Konstantinov, proposed to completely ban those Russians who are registered in the military from leaving the Russian Federation.

The Kremlin did not consider this initiative. At the beginning of January this year, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov denied reports that since January 9, a ban on the departure of men fit for military service has allegedly been in effect in the country.

He called this data an information leak and a diversion. Earlier, such reports were distributed by the Ukrainian media, referring to the intelligence directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
