It should be noted that on the eve of a five-day quarantine was introduced in the capital of North Korea, Pyongyang, due to an increase in the number of SARS cases. The notification of the authorities says that the reason is the spread of the common cold, and COVID-19 is not mentioned. Residents of the city are ordered to stay in their homes, as well as measure the temperature several times a day. Recall that the North Korean authorities recognized the presence of the colronavirus in the country only in May 2022, after two years of silence that there may be infected in the DPRK.
