Dmitry Peskov: the issue of renaming Volgograd to Stalingrad is not discussed

He noted that in the historical memory of the Russian people there is a concept of "hero city Stalingrad". Moreover, even today, most residents of this city call themselves "Stalingraders".

As reported by the news agency "Novostyvolgograd.Earlier, the organization "Officers of Russia" sent an appeal to the Deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov with a request to rename Volgograd to Stalingrad.
