The Ministry of Defense has retained deferrals for fathers of disabled children with many children

Deferrals for fathers with many children, who acted during the partial mobilization, have not yet ceased to apply. This was reported to journalists by the head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrey Kartapolov.

According to the deputy, the State Duma sent an official request to the Ministry of Defense regarding delays from mobilization for fathers with many children.

By January 26, the deputies received a response from the defense department, "in which it is reported that the instructions of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from October 4, 2022 have not ceased to be valid", - RIA Novosti quotes Kartapolov.

The agency clarifies that the instructions concerned the granting of deferrals to certain categories of citizens subject to the presidential decree on partial mobilization of September 21, 2022.

The Ministry of Defense indicated that deferrals from partial mobilization are granted to citizens who have children with severe incurable diseases or three children, one of whom is disabled.

Earlier, Kartapolov denied data on deferrals from mobilization for fathers with many children raising disabled children.
