The Ministry of Defense promised to provide volunteers with equipment and food

"To determine: the procedure for providing volunteer formations with weapons, military equipment, material and technical means; the procedure for food, clothing and other types of provision, medical assistance to citizens staying in volunteer formations", - the draft order says (quoted by RIA Novosti).

The document is published on the legal information portal, and its validity begins from the moment of publication. Additional funding for the implementation of the initiative will not be required.

It is noted that the volunteers will receive the same security as the formations of the Armed Forces. At the same time, the military unit at the place of residence will provide the uniform and "personal belongings". Inventory property will not be transferred to the personal property of volunteers, but will be subject to delivery to the military unit's storage warehouse.

"Volunteers are held liable for material damage caused by their fault to the state in the performance of their duties, in accordance with the procedure established by law for military personnel of the Armed Forces", - the annex to the document says.

In addition, volunteers will be provided with medical care in "military medical units, units and organizations". It also stipulates their evacuation to medical institutions with the help of aircraft and helicopters of the VKS in case of such a need.
