In Irkutsk, the heads of the heat supply company were accused of fraud for 79 million rubles

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the charge of fraud in the amount of 79 million rubles was brought against the managers and accountants of a heat supply company in the Irkutsk region. The heads of the organization supplied coal to the Mamsko-Chuysky district. The head and the CEO signed an agreement that coal will be supplied to the village of Mama in 2020-2021. The company sold a ton of coal to local residents for 8.5 thousand rubles, while the real price was 6.5 thousand rubles per ton.

To increase the costs of providing heating and water supply services, the company used an affiliated organization as a supplier. The front organization was also used to receive subsidies for the loss of income.

Illegal actions of the management allowed to steal 42 million rubles from the regional budget, and 37 million rubles were stolen in the form of illegal VAT refunds using forged documents. In addition, the heads of the company tried to illegally reimburse another 11 million rubles from the regional treasury.

16 searches were conducted in the company and at the home of the defendants. Now the accused are under arrest. Depending on the role of each, they are charged under Articles 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (4 episodes), 30 and 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (2 episodes).
