Five schoolchildren were injured in an accident with a bus on Sakhalin

The incident happened in the south of Sakhalin. A school bus carrying ten children crashed into two cars. According to the chief doctor of the Kholmskaya Regional Hospital Svetlana Mishchenko, five schoolchildren were injured. In total, eight minors were taken to the hospital.

"(Children) are examined by surgeons, traumatologists, neurologists, our medical psychologist is invited", - the doctor reported.

The district administration indicated that the bus collects schoolchildren from the villages of Pozharskoye and Pyatirechye of the Kholmsky district to deliver them from school to Chaplanovo. At the time of the accident, there were children 7-16 years old on the bus. All of them were wearing seat belts, and the driver did not exceed the speed limit of 60 km / h, officials said.

Earlier it was reported that a school bus got into an accident in Saransk. He collided with four cars.
