Poland has trained several thousand soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said that several thousand AFU soldiers have already been trained in the republic. The command of the 11th Mechanized Division is responsible for their training.

"This is a division that is stationed in the southwestern part of our country. She has access to the landfill", - the head of the department said.

In addition, Warsaw is waiting for those who want to join the "tank coalition" for Ukraine by the end of February, Blashchak added to journalists in Kiev.

"There is no doubt that Ukraine is expecting another attack from Russia, so tank support is key for defense, this is a key issue. Declarations were followed from the countries that have Leopard tanks, but we are waiting for final declarations until mid-February", - the minister said.

Now the Polish military is retraining AFU soldiers for German Leopard tanks.

Earlier it was reported that hundreds of Ukrainian militants are being sent to Germany and Poland for further training. Officials are now thinking about how to deliver tanks to the front.
