The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, will arrive in Moscow this week. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.
"We are counting, as always, on a deep professional conversation with the Director General of the IAEA", - Ryabkov said, pointing out that Grossi's schedule has not yet been clarified.
The last time Grossi visited Russia was in December last year. Then he met with the head of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev. At the beginning of January, Grossi announced that he was going to arrive in the Russian capital again.
On February 28 last year, the Russian side took control of the Zaporozhye NPP, after which the APU continued to regularly fire at the facility. The IAEA mission visited the Zaporozhye NPP and confirmed numerous physical damage to the plant.
It should be noted that today Kiev announced sanctions against the Russian nuclear industry for 50 years.
