Roofs, balconies and facades of houses were damaged in cities, electric poles, public transport stops were knocked down, power lines were damaged.

The hurricane wind turned over heavy cast-iron benches in parks, overturned cars.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, due to the consequences of the disaster on the federal highway M4 "Don" from 15:00 on February 6, it was necessary to restrict the movement of heavy-duty vehicles with high sail.

Motorists were warned that it is extremely dangerous to drive personal cars during a hurricane.
Due to the squally wind on February 7, classes in schools were canceled in Gelendzhik, the mayor's office reported.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that a storm warning is in effect in Gelendzhik. Over the next three days, the north-easterly wind will persist, in some places gusts will reach 38 m/s, waves up to 2.5 meters high will rise on the sea.

All city services are on high alert.
