In Primorsky Krai, a former employee of the prosecutor's office was sentenced to four years in a penal colony for mediation in the transfer of a bribe for two convicts to be released on parole.

In the period from February to July 2021, an ex-employee of the prosecutor's office in "It was established that from February to July 2021, the convicted – a former employee of the prosecutor's office - in collusion with a former lawyer, against whom a court verdict was previously issued, "contributed to reaching an agreement on receiving a bribe by a former employee of the prosecutor's office of Primorsky Krai for supporting petitions on the conditional early release of two persons serving a sentence of imprisonment."

In July of the same year, the intermediary was detained by FSB officers after receiving a bribe of one and a half million rubles.

In addition to the term of imprisonment, the convicted person is scheduled to pay a fine of 3 million rubles. He has been banned from working in state authorities for four years.

Earlier, the publication "Vostok-Media" reported that the ex-head of the primorsky division of JSC "Russian Railways" received sums from citizens and subordinates from 30 to 155 thousand rubles for employment, concealment of absenteeism and other services.
