The investigation of the assassination attempt in Khimki will be handled by the Moscow region IC

According to RIA Novosti with reference to the data of the IC, criminal cases of attempted murder of a child (Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and negligence (Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) have been initiated on the fact of an armed attack on an 11-year-old schoolgirl at the lyceum in Khimki.

"The progress of the investigation of the criminal case was taken under control by the head of the GSU IC Russia in the Moscow region by Alexander Starikov", - the message says.

It's worth reminding that in the Moscow lyceum there occured a conflict between two fifth-graders, which ended in a stabbing. One student in the toilet of the lyceum cut her classmate with a kitchen knife, inflicting 26 blows on her.

The victim, who lost a lot of blood, was taken to the intensive care unit and miraculously saved. The attacker was placed in a mental hospital. After the incident, the mother of the robber said she was ready to give reporters an interview about the incident for 15 million rubles.

As part of the investigation of criminal cases, a series of examinations has been appointed. Specialists continue to work at the scene, interviewing dozens of witnesses. Lawyers note that the robber will avoid criminal responsibility for the attack on a classmate, since she has not reached the age of 14. But she can be placed in a temporary detention center for juvenile offenders.
