The musician made such a statement during a meeting of the UN Security Council. Waters believes that it is necessary to agree on an immediate cease-fire.

Roger Waters, one of the founders and leaders of the Pink Floyd group, at a meeting of the UN Security Council called on US President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, as well as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, to agree on a ceasefire in Ukraine today.

"We demand changes. President Biden, President Putin, President Zelensky, the United States, NATO, Russia, the EU – all of you, please change course now. Agree on a ceasefire in Ukraine today", - the musician said.

Earlier, the Russian side requested Waters' participation in a meeting of the UN Security Council, where they want to involve him as a speaker. In August, during a tour, he called US President Joe Biden a war criminal, and also called on Zelensky to start a dialogue with Moscow.

It is noteworthy that Waters called the special operation a response to the advance of the North Atlantic Alliance to the Russian borders. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev noted that "there are adequate people in the West".
