According to the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz, the APU attacked the border territory of the Bryansk region on the night of February 9.
"The attack was repelled by the air defense system of the Russian Armed Forces. As a result of the operation of the air defense system, all nine of the nine attacking aircraft were shot down. Thanks to our defenders!", - he clarified and added that there were no casualties as a result of the attack. Operational services are working on site.
On January 19, we recall, the governor stated that the air defense system managed to repel a missile attack on the Uchi district, and on January 14, the air defense systems coped with the Tochka-U missile.
On February 3, a "yellow" level of terrorist danger was introduced in the region, as well as in the Kursk region. At the end of January, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree abolishing restrictions on the timing of the introduction of terrorist threat levels in border regions.
